At the age of 7, I was forced to live on the streets due to domestic abuse and poverty.
For a female, being perceived as a street child was much harder than it was for a guy. I was constantly cut off from society until a woman created a makeshift home near a rubbish dump. She used to let me beg for money for her in exchange for food.
She brought me to NAG, a magnificent oasis, and for a while I thought of her as God.
I am a driven, enthusiastic educator who believes that changing the world through education for children is possible. Additionally, I support foster children when necessary and am an engaged social worker for their needs. Since I think that every child in the world deserves an education, I joined the NAG alumni to lend a helping hand to the underprivileged kids in my native Nepal.
